LOU E. LOON

Tonight I went to see the Great Lakes Loon's play baseball....and it was Lou E.'s Birthday!! So much fun. It was my first game of the season - Beautiful Night for Baseball!

We have tickets for several games this summer. We don't usually go this early in the year because of the cold temperatures. This afternoon, my Dad said - "It would be a good night to watch the Loon's play ball" - he drove down to the ball park and was able to get good seats for the game. They played the Ft Wayne "TinCaps" and lost 2 to 1.

It was a "Midland High School Chemics" night so Lou E. has a Midland shirt on, we heard the Midland High Marching Band play and celebrated Lou E.'s Birthday.

The Birthday guy entertained us all night!

Many of Lou E.'s friends were invited to his party. We didn't know them all but recognized a few!!

There was "Big Boy", "Tennis the Menace" from the Midland Tennis Center, "Biscuit and Gravy" from Bob Evans, Woody from Northwood, Chicken from Zender's and others from local schools and restaurants.

His friends did the LIMBO Lou E. Style!

The wind was cool but the sun was out. We had layers of coats and blankets and even gloves Y
....a couple fireplaces to warm us....It was a great day to.....
