THE FAMILY GARDEN

"The Fence that makes Good Neighbors needs

a Gate to make Good Friends"

Our family decided last year that we would enjoy having our own family garden. Since Dad is retired, it just seemed like the right thing to do. It has been a big project .... clearing the land....preparing the soil..... fencing the area to keep out our little bunny friends.....

We planted our favorites......Squash, Pumpkins, Cukes, Green Beans, Cabbage, Tomatoes, Peppers, Garlic (received from our good friends), Cilantro, Basil, Dill, Asparagus and a few cut flower!!

THIS IS OUR GOAL

The next posting is a slide-show of the process over the last year!!! What a fun family project!!

Yay!!!!! I'm glad you planted a garden! And I love "Garden Party" by Ricky Nelson. We are planting our warmer weather stuff this week. The broccoli, cabbage, lettuce, onions, and snow peas are already growing. Can't wait! Looks like you'll have a nice garden!
